WBJEE Results 2024, wbjee.nic.in: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the WBJEE 2024 results and toppers list today, June 6. A total of 99.53% of the students who took the exam passed. However, candidates will be able to check their marks online from 4 pm onwards as the link will be activated at that time. Candidates who participated in the exam can access their results on the official websites, wbjeeb.in and wbjeeb.nic.in, once out. The WBJEE 2024 was conducted on April 28 in a pen-and-paper format at multiple centres. The exam was held in two shifts — paper 1 (Mathematics) from 11 am to 1 pm and paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm. Around 34,000 engineering seats are available across colleges in the state.

This year, the WBJEE exam was conducted on April 28 in two shifts. The rank card has been released today, June 6.
Candidates who have qualified for the WBJEE result 2024 will be next be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process next. Details regarding the same will be announced soon.

The WBJEE 2024 merit list includes four students from the West Bengal Board, four from the CBSE Board, and two from the ISC Board.

This year, 1,42,694 aspirants registered for WBJEE. Among them, 99,574 cleared the exam. The exam was held across 328 examination centres. 88 per cent of the registered candidates appeared for the exam. President of the Joint Entrance Board Molendu Saha said, “After the declaration of results, steps have been taken to prevent unfair means in the rank card.’

The WBJEE result 2024 will include the subject-wise scores, total scores, ranks secured, application number, student name and other details.
The WBJEEB will activate the WBJEE 2024 result link at wbjeeb.in at 4 pm. Students will need their application number to check scores.
Candidates can check and download their WBJEE result 2024 using the application number and password mentioned on the hall tickets.

The WBJEE was held on April 30 which saw about 98,000 candidates appearing for the exam. A total of 51,345 students successfully passed the exam out of which 2,142 were ISC students, 28,027 were CBSE candidates, and 15,392 were from the West Bengal board.

a) A sequence of Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR) will be prepared based on the score in paper II only, that is, Physics and Chemistry.
b) Ranking shall be done in the descending order of marks scored in paper-II.
c) Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for respective categories of students, e.g., SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, EWS Rank, PWD Rank, TFW Rank, etc., as applicable.
d) Admission to all Pharmacy Courses except at Jadavpur University shall be made based on PMR.
e) Sequencing orders for counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be based only on PMR (not on category ranks).
As per the information brochure of WBJEE 2024:
a) A sequence of General Merit Rank (GMR) will be prepared based on the total scores obtained in Paper-I and Paper-II, taken together.
b) Ranking shall be done in descending order of total marks scored in all the subjects.
c) Separate reserved category merit positions will also be indicated for the respective category of students, e.g., SC Rank, ST Rank, OBC-A Rank, OBC-B Rank, EWS Rank, PWD Rank, TFW Rank, etc., as applicable.
d) Admission to all Engineering / Technology / Architecture Courses and the Pharmacy Course in Jadavpur University will be based only on GMR.
e) Sequencing orders for counselling/allotment of seats/admission will be based only on GMR (not category ranks).

The WBJEE results and toppers list will be announced at a press conference today, June 6 at 2:30 pm to be hosted by WBJEEB. However, candidates will be able to check their marks online from 4 pm onwards.

The WBJEE model answer key was released on May 7, and objections regarding the OMR and response sheets were accepted from May 22 to May 24.
