Orange Cap: RCB's Virat Kohli won Orange Cap in IPL 2024 with 741 runs. With this he became the first batter in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) to score 8000 runs.

Orange Cap In IPL 2024, IPL 2024 Orange Cap Standings

1. Virat Kohli: The RCB legend won the Orange cap in IPL 2024 scoring most runs in IPL 2024.
2. Ruturaj Gaikwad: Being handed the responsibility of leading the five-time champions, CSK, the pressure of leading the side after MS Dhoni has not weighed down his batting at all. Despite a poor start to the season, he has managed to hit his stride and has shown the ability to play as per the situation, rather than looking to score runs for himself.
3. Travis Head: It might not be the ideal performance for the Australian international in Qualifier 1 and has been caught in a rut after being dismissed for consecutive ducks in the last two games. However, throughout the season he has taken a high-risk approach in his batting which has seen it pay dividends on a massive scale to make SRH one of the most feared batting units as a whole.
4. Riyan Parag: After years of backing the youngster who has been under pressure, the Assamese batter has finally announced his arrival with the bat in stunning fashion. Being handed down the responsibility at the number four position, Parag has found the magical consistency with the bat he has lacked in the previous years and seems like one for the future for many years to come.
5. Sai Sudharshan: The young left-handed batter has shown versatility in his batting position being able to comfortably open the batting along with coming down at the number three slot as well. Despite GT’s season not panning out as they expected, the youngster has been the shining light for the franchise and has brought about his best season with the bat in his brief career in the IPL. The team will look to back the youngster for the future seasons and could be the next big star.
