Arunachal Pradesh will vote in simultaneous Assembly elections along with the Lok Sabha polls in the April-May cycle. The tenure of the current Assembly ends on June 2, 2024. The BJP won 41 seats in the 2019 Assembly polls, and subsequently, seven MLAs of other parties, including the Janata Dal-United, joined the BJP.
