After hitting the nets in New York, Rohit Sharma & Co attended a photo shoot on Wednesday. The Indian players sported the newly-launched T20 kits for the showpiece event. The men in blue will begin their campaign in the T20 World Cup 2024 with a fixture against Ireland on June 5. Before locking horns with Ireland, India will play a warm-up game against Bangladesh on June 1.
Team India began its preparations for the T20 World Cup with a morning training session in New York on Wednesday.
After an intense net session in America, the team stepped for a photo shoot in their team jerseys.
Skipper Rohit Sharma led the charge in front of the camera with an intense look. He is one of the two international cricketers to feature in all T20 World Cup editions.

Axar Patel is also a part of India’s 15-man squad. He recently had a great IPL season for the Delhi Capitals with both bat and ball. He scored 235 runs in 14 games and picked up 11 wickets.
Arshdeep Singh is set to represent India in the second T20 World Cup in his career. The left-arm quick will share the fast-bowling responsibilities with Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
Ravindra Jadeja will be a crucial cog in India’s arsenal at the T20 World Cup. He has played 22 matches for India in T20 World Cups, picking up 21 wickets at an average of 25.19.
