The Indian men’s cricket team are slated to take on Bangladesh in the 2024 T20 World Cup warm-up match, the fixtures for which were announced on Thursday. With the IPL 2024 to conclude by May 26 and Indian players reportedly leaving for the USA in two batches, the BCCI wanted both the warmups in New York to avoid fatigue due to travel. India will kickstart their world cup campaign on June 5 when they take on Ireland at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium, New York. The former champions have been grouped alongside Pakistan, Ireland, USA and Canada.
