From Kedarnath To Kanyakumari: PM Modi's Spiritual Retreat As Lok Sabha Campaigning Concludes | In Pics
Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai termed PM Modi's visit to the memorial as an out-and-out 'private' visit. "It is Prime Minister's personal visit," he said, adding that was why his party leaders and cadres did not take part in the event

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his 45-hour-long meditation at the famed Vivekananda Rock Memorial on Thursday evening.
The meditation session comes after the completion of his two-month-long high-pitch Lok Sabha poll campaign across the country.

After arriving from nearby Thiruvananthapuram by helicopter, Modi worshipped at the Bhagavathi Amman temple and reached the rock memorial by ferry service.

Clad in a dhoti and a white shawl, Modi prayed at the temple and circumambulated the 'garbhagriha'.

Ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha election results, PM Modi had embarked on a similar spiritual journey in Uttarakhand.

Tamil Nadu BJP president K Annamalai termed PM Modi's visit to the memorial as an out-and-out 'private' visit.

The Prime Minister is meditating at the Dhyan Mandapam, the same spot where Swami Vivekananda had meditated in 1892.
