ADOR’s CEO Min Hee-jin held a second press conference on May 31st after the court ruled the case in her favour against the parent label, HYBE. Unlike her emotional first appearance, this time, she entered the press room with a smile and in a happy mood. While talking to the journalists, Min Hee-jin shared her views on management, thanked NewJeans fans, and spoke about the group’s future and her plans for a settlement with HYBE through positive discussion. However, as soon as the conference began, K-pop fans, who have closely followed the case from the beginning, criticized Hee-jin’s changed appearance, which drew immediate attention and sparked discussions among users.
During the first conference, the CEO appeared distressed, wearing a green t-shirt and a cap to hide her face. Reports revealed that Min Hee-jin was going through a tough time, didn’t sleep for three days and was in a very poor mental state. However, her personality drastically changed in the latest press conference, where it was announced that she would continue as ADOR’s CEO. She entered the room wearing a charming yellow top, jeans and heels, with a bright smile on her face, she maintained a positive attitude throughout the event.
After photos and videos from the conference circulated online, many were shocked by her transformation and criticized her for trying to gain sympathy, despite making a mess.
she was crying in the previous press conference claiming she and her artists are “mistreated” and wanted to leave Hybe, now why is she so happy after the court granted that injunction for her to avoid being ousted? is this woman okay???— hobi’s sweat (@sugas_studio) May 31, 2024

Other than her behaviour, there was also discussion about Min Hee-jin’s outfit, which captured the attention and was loved by many. Although the product wasn’t easily found online, eagle-eyed users quickly searched and discovered the brand and price of the sweater. As per reports, the top is from the Japanese brand called, Perverze and it costs approximately 40,000 yen (approximately Rs 21,000). However, many found out that the sweater was unavailable for purchase.
As per K Pop Charts, while talking about her plans with NewJeans, Min Hee-jin said, “We were preparing for a world tour next year, so we needed to secure a tracklist. These plans were messed up by this month-long dispute, my only goal is to work in good faith with NewJeans, so I hope we and HYBE come to a good agreement.”
“I wasn’t the one who caused this fight. I hope we can follow what we decided to do with NewJeans. This fight doesn’t benefit anyone. I’m asking them to think rationally, because it’s in no one’s interest for the organization to be reorganized and for the NewJeans to take a break. I hope we can move on to the next chapter, because we were all harmed,” she added.
Min Hee-jin also has plans to rebuild ADOR by rehiring the past executives.
