Varun Dhawan’s wife Natasha Dalal has gone into labour on Monday, June 3, sources tells News18 Showsha exclusively. Earlier today, Varun Dhawan was spotted outside Hinduja Hospital in Khar West, Mumbai. He was seen holding a duffle bag, leaving the hospital and rushing towards his car. It gave rise to speculations that his wife Natasha Dalal is all set to give birth to their first baby. In February this year, Varun took to social media to announce that he and Natasha are pregnant.
Now, a source exclusively tells us Natasha is due for delivery this week but she went into labour on Monday morning. “According to the doctor, Natasha is scheduled to give birth this week. Earlier today, in the morning, she began having strong labour pain, following which she was rushed to the hospital. Varun is making sure that he’s around his wife during this time and he has pushed all professional commitments to a later date,” says the source.
In February when they announced the news of their pregnancy, Varun shared an aesthetic monochrome picture from their living room that featured him kneeling on his knees, planting a kiss on Natasha’s baby bump. The snap also featured their pet dog comfortably seated on the sofa, with his gaze fixated on the camera. Varun captioned the post, “We are pregnant Need all your blessings and love #myfamilymystrength.”
In the video that surfaced on social media today, Varun was seen sporting an oversized pink t-shirt with blue pyjamas and carrying a bottle of alkaline water. He didn’t pose for the paparazzi but walked towards his car and left. For the unversed, Varun and Natasha are known to be childhood sweethearts who dated for many years and finally tied the knot on January 24, 2021 in the presence of their families and closest friends.
On the work front, Varun has projects like Raj & DK’s Citadel: Honey Bunny with Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Atlee’s Baby John in the pipeline, which also stars Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi in key roles. Both the projects will release post the arrival of his firstborn.
