Taylor Swift defends Lady Gaga against pregnancy rumours.

Taylor Swift has come down heavily on internet trolls for forcing Lady Gaga to address 'invasive' rumours about her pregnancy.

Taylor Swift has come out in support of Lady Gaga days after the latter had to address rumours around her pregnancy on TikTok. The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer, 34, came to Gaga’s rescue on Wednesday, June 5, after the ‘Joker’ star posted a TikTok video denying pregnancy rumours that sparked over the weekend.

“Can we all agree that it’s invasive and irresponsible to comment on a woman’s body,” Swift wrote in Gaga’s TikTok comments section. “Gaga doesn’t owe anyone an explanation and neither does any woman.”

Gaga made a cheeky reference to Swift’s song “Down Bad” while addressing the pregnancy speculation. She used a voiceover clip in which a person said, “I don’t have to find an aesthetic. I am an aesthetic. I mean, I’m sure there’s somebody out here right now who’s going into Pinterest trying to type all these adjectives to describe me.”

“Not pregnant–just down bad cryin’ at the gym,” read a text written over the video. The line was a reference from Taylor Swift’s single “Down Bad,” which is featured on “The Tortured Poets Department.”

For the unversed, the ‘A Star is Born’ actor began dating tech entrepreneur Michael Polansky in 2020. They were spotted sharing a kiss at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. It is reported that the couple is going strong. A few months ago, Gaga sparked rumours of her engagement when fans spotted a ring on her hand.

In 2020, speaking with MSNBC’s Morning Joe, Gaga went on record to call Michael the ‘love of her life.’ “With Born This Way Foundation, my mother, Cynthia Germanotta, and our co-founder Maya [Enista Smith], who I love so very much… they’re working with my… the love of my life on something for mental health,” she said at the time.
