Sania Mirza left everyone in splits after she pulled up Kapil Sharma for asking a lame question. The Tennis legend will be seen on the new episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show with Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal and Sift Kaur Samra. The promo was released on Wednesday which gave a glimpse of the fun episode that’s in store for the audience. The promo teased a few gags and moments. However, no one expected Sania to roast Kapil in the episode.
In the promo, Kapil was seen asking Sania, “Sona toh aapne itna jeeta Sania, jab aap bahar jaati hai, jewellery aap fir sone ki nahi karti hongi aap (You’ve won several gold medals. So when you step out for jewellery shopping, you must not be buying gold jewellery)." With a straight face, Sania replied, “Nahi, sirf gold medal hum pehenke jaate hai… Pagal hai?"
Shocked by her clapback, Kapil asked her, “Were you my sister-in-law in my previous life?" Kapil and Sania decided to then role play as in-laws, which truly brought out Sania’s savage side. Watch the video below:
Sania also briefly touched upon her love life. In the promo, Kapil reminded Sania that Shah Rukh Khan had offered to play her love interest if a film on her was made. Sania cut Kapil off to say, “Abhi mujhe pehle love interest dundna hai (I have to find a love interest first)." Her answer left Kapil and Archana Puran Singh in splits.
For the unversed, Sania married Shoaib in Hyderabad in 2010, with their Walima ceremony taking place in Sialkot, Pakistan. They welcomed a baby boy in 2018 and named him Izhaan Mirza Malik. In January of this year, Sania’s team released a statement confirming that the couple had been separated for several months, urging fans not to engage in speculation. He is now married to Pakistani actress Sana Javed.
