Samsung has confirmed that it will bring the Galaxy AI (Artificial Intelligence) features to its smart watches. These new features will be available for the users starting with the upcoming One UI 6 Watch and the future Galaxy Watch lineups. Galaxy AI will help the platform give you “more comprehensive health insights”, said Samsung, “along with motivational encouragement to help you improve your daily wellness,” GSMArena quoted.
The two major updates coming to the Samsung wearables with the Galaxy Ai are Energy Score and Wellness Tips.
1. Energy Score, a new feature offered by Samsung, will help users understand their daily condition by analyzing a variety of health variables like – Sleep Time average and consistency, Sleeping Time, Wake-Time consistency, Sleeping Heart Rate, Heart Rate Variability and Previous Day Activities which will help the users to understand is it safe to exercise that day.
2. Another big update coming to the wearables with the Galaxy Ai is Wellness Tips. Based on your health goals, the feature will provide personalised health tips, insights and motivational tips to help you achieve them.
Apart from these updates, according to GSMArena, the One UI 6 Watch will also offer enhanced Health Algorithms and more advanced tracking tools to “provide more holistic, personalized and actionable insights when combined with AI.”
However, according to Samsung it also has improved Sleep Algorithms to provide more detailed information and insights. The sleep insight features provide a more accurate analysis of the user’s sleep quality with the help of AI.
Apart from the previously supported data like –snoring, blood oxygen levels and sleep cycle, it uses additional data like – Sleep Latency, Movement During Sleep and Respiratory rate during sleep, the report adds.
Additionally, there will be new Functional Threshold Power metrics for cyclists; more detailed Aerobic Threshold/Aerobic Threshold Heart Rate Zone for cyclists. Samsung announced that the update to One UI 6 Watch will roll out later this year.
