Pawan Kalyan celebrates political win with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan.

The NDA, including TDP, BJP and Pawan Kalyan’s JanaSena Party (JSP), won the majority of seats in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha polls in Andhra Pradesh.

Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan received a grand welcome as he arrived at Chiranjeevi’s place in Hyderabad after his historic political win at Pithapuram. The newly-elected MLA also got emotional during the celebration and touched Chiranjeevi’s feet as a mark of respect. Chiranjeevi hugged him and garlanded him to congratulate the actor-politician on the electoral victory. A photo of Pawan Kalyan cutting a huge cake with his nephews Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Durgha Tej, niece Niharika Konidela, son Akira Nandan and other members of the family is going viral on the internet.

The Jana Sena chief also took the blessings of his mother Anjana Devi, other brother Naga Babu, and Chiranjeevi’s wife Surekha. Earlier, petals were showered as soon as Pawan Kalyan reached Chiranjeevi’s house along with his wife Konidala Anna and son Akira.

Pawan’s ex-wife and Akira’s mother, actor Renu Desai, shared a video on her Instagram, writing about how their son made a video edit for his father. The video showcases clips from Pawan’s films.

Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday said that his was the only party in the entire country which won 100 per cent of the seats contested. Addressing party workers in Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), he said the NDA would form a responsible government in Andhra Pradesh and the Janasena would ensure all the poll promises it made were honoured.

“This is the day of historic judgment. We have committed to the people of Andhra Pradesh that there will be a responsible government. The NDA government will honour it," he said. As per the seat-sharing agreement with TDP and BJP, Janasena contested 21 Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats in the state.
