A vegetable seller on his way to the market on a scooter was hit by a speeding Eco sports car

A high speeding car hit a scooter causing the rider to fall from the vehicle as it sped away in Haryana’s Gurugram. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in a bike showroom nearby.

According to reports, a vegetable seller on his way to the market on a scooter was hit by a speeding Eco sports car. The impact of the collision was such that the scooter rider along with the scooter was dragged about 50 meters away.

The car didn’t stop or slow down after hitting the scooter. The injured were admitted to Sector-10 Civil Hospital by the onlookers. As soon as the information was received, Sector-9 police reached the spot and took the statement of the injured. A hunt for the driver of the car is underway.

A speeding Audi hit an elderly man, killing him on the spot in Noida on Sunday. The incident occurred at around 6.30 am on Sunday near Kanchenjunga Apartment in Noida’s Sector 53. The 63-year-old man, Janak Dev Shah, had reportedly retired from All India Radio and lived in Sector 53.

As per the CCTV footage, Shah was crossing the road when suddenly the Audi came from the front and hit him. The impact of the accident was such that Shah flung several feet in the air before landing.

These accidents come amid public outrage over the Pune Porsche accident wherein an allegedly drunk teen rammed his luxury car into a motorbike killing two 24-year-old techies on the spot last week.

The 17-year-old boy, the son of a builder in Pune, was granted within 14 hours of the accident, however, the order was cancelled later by the Juvenile Justice Board, who sent him to observation home till June 5.
