Actress Nina Dobrev, who was recently injured in an e-bike accident, is currently in the recovery stage. The Vampire Diaries star has been keeping her fans updated on her health through Instagram, expressing her hope to be back on track soon. On June 6, Nina Dobrev took to her social media handle to share that she underwent surgery.
“Surgery was a success. Thank you to everyone who has been sending kind messages, thoughts, prayers, and good vibes. I have been feeling the support and positive energy. It means more than you will ever know,” Nina Dobrev wrote while sharing a picture from the hospital bed.
Before her surgery, Nina Dobrev shared a picture on Instagram and mentioned that she was scared. “I’m such a baby when it comes to needles, blood, or procedures of any kind,” she wrote. However, details about the surgery or the reason for getting operated on are not revealed. Dobrev hasn’t even revealed other details regarding the accident.
Several fellow celebrities, her boyfriend, Olympian Shaun White and a lot of fans took to the comment section to send their well wishes. “We All Love You,” Shaun wrote.
Nina Dobrev’s E-Bike Accident
On May 20, Nina Dobrev took to Instagram and shared that she had been hospitalised after meeting with an accident while riding her e-bike. She shared a picture of her on the bike alongside another one showing her on the hospital bed with a neck brace and splint on her leg. “How it started vs how it’s going,” she wrote.
Later in another post, Nina gave a peek into her current life which includes lying on the bed, spending time with her dogs, doctor visits, laughing at her boyfriend’s antics and other stuff. “Life looks a lil different lately, trading in the “selfie” for the “leggie”. Get ready for the leg content because that’s all I’ve got in my camera roll these days,” her Instagram post reads.
Known for her roles as Elena Gilbert and Katherine Pierce on the hit supernatural series The Vampire Diaries, Nina Dobrev has been a part of the show for all eight seasons from 2009 to 2017. Next, she is set to appear in an upcoming horror TV show titled Woman 99.
