NEET UG 2024 Results: Jharkhand's Shubham Anand Bags AIR 617

Shubham Anand is a student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sector 5, Bokaro and scored 99 percentile in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The National Testing Agency declared the results of NEET UG 2024 on June 4, 10 days before the scheduled date. More than 23 lakh candidates appeared for the examination to get admission to various medical colleges in the country. Thousands of students cracked the examination with flying colours. Today, we are going to talk about one such student who cracked the examination with excellent marks. Shubham Anand is a student of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Sector 5, Bokaro, Jharkhand. He achieved an All India Rank of 617 in the NEET UG exam.

In an interview with Local18, Shubham mentioned that he scored 99 percentile in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Talking about his preparation for the examination, he said, “I am very happy that I could achieve this milestone today. Since my childhood, I dreamt of being a doctor and today after achieving this milestone I am very happy. For the last two years, I have prepared for this examination with hard work and dedication. I used to study for around 10-12 hours every day.”

When asked about his preparation pattern for the examination, Shubham shared that he mainly focused on NCERT books. He said, “I mainly focused on studying from NCERT books. I made my notes and frequently solved NCERT test papers. By solving those test papers I could easily identify my weaknesses.” He further mentioned that he worked harder on his weaknesses which helped him to crack the examination.

Shubham dedicated his success to his parents and school teachers who supported him with his studies. Talking about his family he mentioned that his father, Hare Ram Singh, works as a bank manager while his mother, Sushma Sindhu, is a homemaker. He added that his parents supported him in every circumstance and it was because of them that he could crack the exam.

While talking to Local18, Shubham Anand’s mother Sushma expressed her happiness as her son is all set to start his medical studies. She said, “I am pleased with Shubham’s achievement. I hope he continues to work hard and work for the betterment of the country.”
