During preparation, Ved Sunilkumar Shende and his friends competed against each other to see who could study for more hours.

The NEET UG 2024 results were recently announced. Thousands of students have cracked the exam with flying colours. One student from Nagpur, Maharashtra named Ved Sunilkumar Shende has secured AIR 1 in NEET UG 2024. NEET exams are considered to be the most challenging medical exams in the country. He scored a perfect 99.99 percentile with 720 out of 720 marks.

According to a report, Ved Sunilkumar studied for about six hours every day during his NEET preparation. This was an integral part of his routine. He was fully focused on preparing for NEET UG by using NCERT books and solving practice papers.

Ved and his friends studied with dedication. During preparation, they competed against each other to see who could study for more hours. If Ved studied for six hours, his friends studied for 10-12 hours. One of his friends also scored a perfect 720 out of 720. Ved used to wake up at 4 am and practice exam papers. After evaluating his performance, he studied for 6 to 8 hours straight without any break. He made sure to finish every topic he started before moving on to the next one.

According to a report, Ved will enrol in the prestigious AIIMS, Delhi. After getting admission, he will opt for specialisation in the medical field. His father, Sunilkumar Shende, an ENT surgeon, is overjoyed at his son’s success.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024 in which 67 students secured the NEET All India Rank (AIR) 1. However, the NTA has clarified that all the 67 students who secured the NEET AIR 1 are not toppers.

“Each student has been assigned an individual rank on their score card, which can only be found on these cards. These have been calculated based on the tie-breaking guidelines announced by the NTA,” said a senior NTA official.
