Multiple films released on the same day are a dream come true for cinephiles. As per the latest updates, several projects in Malayalam cinema are being released on June 7.
The three Malayalam releases include the films Jamalinte Punjiri, Golam and Sree Muthappan.
Jamalinte Punjiri
According to the information given, Jamalinte Punjiri is a social crime thriller, set for a theatrical release tomorrow. It is being directed by the debutant filmmaker Vicky Thampi. The release cast includes names like Indrans, Mithun Ramesh, Joy Mathew and Prayaga Martin as the leads, along with Mallika Sukumaran and Dinesh Panicker. The actors Siddique, Ashokan, Sivadasan Kannur, Sona Nair and more will be featured. Newcomers like Sunil Bhaskar, Yadu Krishnan and Farhan are also a part of the cast. It is being produced by V S Suresh under the banner of Film Creations. The music is handled by Anil Kumar Pathiripally and Madhu R Varkey while Udayan Ambadi is the cinematographer.
Golam
The next release is titled Golam, which is being dubbed as a suspense mystery thriller, a directorial debut of Samjad. The cast includes Dileesh Pothan, Ranjith Sajeev, Alencier Ley Lopez and Siddique in prominent roles. It is being produced by Anne and Sajeev under the banner of Fragrance Nature Film Creations. The music in the film is composed by Abi Salvin Thomas, another newcomer. Vijay is doing the cinematography.
Sree Muthappan
The third release is titled Sree Muthappan. The movie revolves around the mythology of a folklore God called Sree Muthappan, a deity working for the poor. The film cast includes Manikuttan, Joy Mathew, Madhupal, Babu Annoor, Aneesh Pillai, Chef Nalan, Munshi Ranjith and many more. It is being helmed by Chandran Narikode while the producer is Aneesh Pillai. The banner behind the release is Pratithi House Creations. Composer Ramesh Narayan is roped in to handle the music in the film. According to more information, Reji Joseph is the cinematographer and the editing is done by Rajesh TV.
