Recently, cricketer Riyan Parag allegedly saw his YouTube search history go viral. The searches of the 22-year-old cricketer included some of the popular Bollywood actresses like Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan.

YouTube gives its users an option to pause or remove their search history for videos, and even the videos or shorts that they watch on the platform. Here’s a step-by-step guide to deleting your YouTube search history on the desktop and phone.

Step 1

Go To My Activity page. Scroll down to see your YouTube search history.

Step 2

Click on the Delete drop-down box.

Step 3

Select from Delete Today, Delete custom range, and Delete all time.

Step 4

YouTube will automatically delete all the search history based on your requirements.

Open YouTube on the phone (Android or iOS). Tap on the Search icon on the top-right.

Step 2

You will see a clock icon next to your searches.

Hard press any video from history. A pop-up box appears asking you to remove the video.
