David Warner Becomes Australia’s All-Time Top-Scorer In T20Is

David Warner kicked off his T20 World Cup campaign with a half-century. 

The Aussie opener struck 56 off 51 balls in a Group B fixture against Oman.

Warner is now the leading  run-scorer for Australia in  T20 Internationals.

The Southpaw has aggregated 3,155 runs in 104 T20Is.

The previous record was held by former captain Aaron Finch.

Finch represented Australia in 103 T20Is, registering 3,120 runs.

Warner slammed his 27th T20I fifty in the match against Oman.

It also marked Warner’s 111th half-century in the shortest format.

“Universe Boss” Chris Gayle slammed 110 fifties in T20 cricket.

Virat Kohli has 105 half-centuries in the 20-over format.
