In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls this constituency voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 10, 2014 and the results were declared on Friday, May 16, 2014.

In 2009, Gautam Buddh Nagar voted in Phase 4 on Thursday, May 07, 2009 and the results were declared on Saturday, May 16, 2009.

In 2014, Mahesh Sharma of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Narendra Bhati of SP by a margin of 2,80,212 votes which was 23.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 50.01% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Surendra Singh Nagar of BSP won this seat beating Mahesh Kumar Sharma of BJP by a margin of 15,904 votes which was 2.15% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BSP had a vote share of 33.23% in the seat.
