This constituency shares an inter-state border with: Haryana, Delhi.

Baghpat Lok Sabha constituency went to the polls in Phase 2 of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Friday, April 26, 2024. The counting of votes is on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections this seat voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 11, 2019 and the results were declared on Thursday, May 23, 2019.

In the 2014 polls this constituency voted in Phase 1 on Thursday, April 10, 2014 and the results were declared on Friday, May 16, 2014.

In 2009, Baghpat voted in Phase 4 on Thursday, May 07, 2009 and the results were declared on Saturday, May 16, 2009.

In 2014, Satya Pal Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ghulam Mohammed of SP by a margin of 2,09,866 votes which was 20.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 42.17% in the seat.

In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Ajit Singh of RLD won this seat beating Mukesh Sharma of BSP by a margin of 63,027 votes which was 10.27% of the total votes polled in the constituency. RLD had a vote share of 38.88% in the seat.
