Bollywood actor Anupam Kher penned a cryptic note after BJP’s shocking results in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. While BJP-led NDA won the elections, the political party lost seats in a few crucial constituencies. This includes Faizabad, the constituency that houses the famous Ram Mandir. Following the surprising results, Anupam Kher took to Instagram and penned a cryptic note about a honest leader and his efforts.
“Kabhi kabhi sochta hoon ki imaandaar vyakti ko bahot zyada imaandaar nahi hona chahiye. Jungle mein seedhe tane wale ped he sabse pehle kaate jaate hai. Bahut zyada imaandaar vyakti ko he sabse zyada kasht uthane padte hai. Par phir bhi woh apni imaandaari nahi chhodta. Isliye karodo logo ke liye prerna ka stotra banta hai,” he said.
His note in English translates: “Sometimes I think a honest man shouldn’t be very honest. A tree with straight bark are often cut down first. The honest man has to bear most problems in life. Despite the hurdles, he doesn’t give up his honesty. That is why he is an inspiration to crores of people.”
Fans took to the comments section to share their views on BJP’s result in Uttar Pradesh and extended their support to Narendra Modi.
Although the political party lost the Faizabad seat, BJP and its alliance party, NDA won several seats. These include Prime Minister Narendra Modi winning in Varanasi and Kangana Ranaut putting up a stellar show in Mandi.
Following the win, PM Modi addressed the country and thanked them for their support. He also took to X to react to his party’s win. “People have placed their faith in NDA, for a third consecutive time! This is a historical feat in India’s history. I bow to the Janata Janardan for this affection and assure them that we will continue the good work done in the last decade to keep fulfilling the aspirations of people. I also salute all our Karyakartas for their hard work. Words will never do justice to their exceptional efforts,” he posted on X.
Meanwhile, Anupam also turned cheerleader for Kangana. He congratulated her and wished her the best for her new journey.
