Ever since the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift was released in the Indian market, it has received a positive response from both critics and customers. Now, the company has reported that the newly launched hatchback has garnered over 40,000 bookings in just one month, making it one of the hot-selling products in the fleet.
The report also suggested that the brand has sold more than 19,390 units since its launch. This makes the model one of the most favorite among customers, which has received an overwhelming response in such a short period.
Statement by Official
Speaking about the achievement, the company’s Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales in India, Partho Banerjee said, “We have right now introduced the petrol variant (of the Swift), the CNG variant has not yet been introduced. 40,000 bookings just for Petrol is a very good response, and we’re seeing good traction for the Swift in the first month of launch.”
Price Cut on AGS Product Line
Recently, the company has slashed the price of the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) product line in the country by Rs 5,000. Interested customers can take benefit of the models across variants that include Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx, and Ignis.
Latest Gen Swift Price
The latest generation Maruti Suzuki Swift was launched in India at the starting price of Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model goes up to Rs 9.64 lakh (ex-showroom).
The company has released the hatchback in more than10 trims, catering masses, allowing them to have multiple options to choose from.
